Roth said to The New York Post From the crash, “The only thing I know by watching a video of the helicopter’s fall, that the main blades of the rotor were not on the helicopter.”
“And I haven’t seen anything like this in my 30s in business, in the helicopter business. The only thing I could guess – I have no idea – is that either bird strikes, or the main blades of the rotor failed. I have no idea. I don’t know,” he added to the exit.
People could not immediately reach Roth’s company for comment on Thursday, April 10th. The reason for the crash, which is not yet known, remains under investigation.
