President Donald Trump laughed at the press when a reporter asked him to determine what a woman was. Trump spoke at a press conference after Alina Haba, a longtime member of her team, was sworn as a US lawyer for New Jersey.
The reporter who asked the question first said Trump had done “so much for women” before listed by women who have powerful roles in the Trump administration, including the head of the headquarters, Susie Wills, the press secretary Carolyn Levitus and the Prosecutor Pam Bondi. He then asked, “Since the Democrats seemed to be struggling to answer this question, I want to ask you what a woman is and why is it important to understand the difference between men and women?”
The room quickly burst out laughing as Trump said the question was “easy” to answer.
“A woman is someone, they can have a baby under certain circumstances. She has a draw. A woman is a man who is much more in a man, I have always found. A woman is a man who doesn’t even give a man a chance for success,” Trump said.
While reporters in the room giggled, Trump used the opportunity to take the issue in a serious direction and addressed the issue of transgender athletes who play in women’s sports.

Trump referred to a MP from the Democrats, not naming who he was, struggling to retain transgender athletes in women’s sports. The president jokes that he hopes the Democrats will continue to argue about the inclusion of transth athletes in women’s sports, “because they will never win other elections.”
