Egyptologist believes that he has found evidence that the rite known as “Awakening of Osiris” was carried out in Tutankhamun’s Funeral camera.

These four troughs would hold libacons, probably from water that could be poured on or near Tutankhamun’s mummy, while the four employees would represent the staff used by Horus.

The four troughs and four employees would represent the cardinal directions and “will symbolically surround the deceased for protection,” Brown says in the email.
