Snowfall amounts reported via Hampton Rhodes, Northeast North Carolina

Portsmouth, Washington (wavy) – the snow continued to fall well on Wednesday night, about 10 o’clock after the winter storm made its presence known on the roads in Hampton and the northeastern North Carolina.

These numbers are subject to a change in anticipation of a larger snowfall. Officially at Norfolk International Airport, 10.2 inches fell at midnight.
