A search at a house in Drogeda, Laut County, as part of the investigation into the murder of a six -year -old boy who disappeared more than two years ago, is over.
Garda (Irish police) said the search results are not released for operational purposes.
Kiran Dolin was reported to have disappeared late last summer, but Garda believes he may have been killed more than two years earlier.
The Garda launched an investigation into the murder in October 2024, saying they were referring to Kiran as disappearing, suggesting dead.

The same month, they did a digging in his former family home at Emer Terrace, Dundalk, but there were no signs of his body.
On Wednesday, a white border was erected around a house on Hand Street in Drogeda.
Employees from the Guard Technical Bureau are taking a forensic examination of the property, including the back garden and mini-digger used to excavate land.
The search continued for two days.
There are no recommendations or concern
Kiran lived with his family in Dundalk for a while, but later they moved to Drugda [An Garda Síochána]
Kiran was a student in the national [primary] A school near his home in Dundalk until the summer of 2022.
He did not return to class after the summer vacations and it is understood that the authorities were said to be moving to Northern Ireland and to a new New School.
Tusla, the Irish State Agency, responsible for the well -being and protection of children, said it did not receive recommendations or concern about the attendance of Kiran or the well -being of education between 2022 and 2024.
In December, two houses were searched in the drug. One of the searches included the use of a dog -a consultation dog.
The search results were not publicly announced.
Guard Drew Harris Commissioner has previously stated that he has never seen such a case in his 40-year career in police on both sides of the border.
