Royal Caribbean Passenger obviously jumps overboard

Cruise-core passengers rarely go out of board.

The railings are designed so that their passage has accidentally become incredibly unlikely.

People who fall in general have had too much to drink, do something very stupid or divert deliberately.

No matter why one is overdoing, however, all efforts are made to save the passenger. This involves receiving help from all nearby ships.

The result, when someone goes overboard, however, is the same. Successful rescuers are very rare.

“There have been 212 recorded cases of passengers passing over board between 2009 and 2019, or approximately 21 times a year,” according to data from the International Cruise Lines Association. “Of these, 48 people were successfully rescued. The report says that after investigations, each case was found to be caused by a deliberate or reckless act.”

Cruise passenger of the 80s is going overboard of Explorer of the Seas

Transcript:

This is Cruise News today with Doug Parker.

Good morning, here’s your news for Tuesday, March 4th.

A passenger went overboard from Royal Caribbean’s Explorer of the Seas during his cruise with themes from the 80’s to the Bahamas.

The incident happened around 11pm on the first night of the trip. Social media reports suggest that a woman may have jumped out of deck 8, with her husband seeing calling for help.

The crew members initiated a search, turning the ship, while other cruise ships nearby, such as the Norwegian Pearl and Carnival Sunrise, also assisted in demand.

There was no official statement from Royal Caribbean during the broadcast and the passenger has not yet been found. The ship continued its route, arriving at Nassau on schedule.

A cruise traveler arrested with a gun; The city is completing a cruise ban

A passenger cruise was arrested in Aruba after trying to get on an oasis of the seas with a revolver.

The firearm was discovered during a routine security screening last week on the island. Local police detained an unidentified man and authorities are investigating whether he had brought the weapon on board Florida or received it in Aruba.

Firearms are strictly prohibited from the Royal Caribbean ships, as is the case with each ship, and it is illegal to bring themselves to a port without special permits.

The ship continued its route without interruption. This is the second guest of the Royal Caribbean, who caught a firearm aboard after such an incident last spring at Grand Turk.

The mayor of Nice, France, canceled his decision to ban large cruise ships after opposition from local business.

Instead, he plans to submit a compromise proposal to the port administration this week. According to the new plan, cruise ships with up to 2500 passengers will be allowed to anchor, but only one ship a day. The smaller ships under 450 passengers can still touch nice.

The port administration says it will allow 65 of the 90 planned cruise ships to continue their routes this summer. The environmental groups that initially supported the ban was criticized, arguing that it prioritized the economy to environmental problems. No time line has been set to apply the new rules.

I just returned from Burj Khalifa, one of, I guess, the highest building in the world. In fact, a murderous view, as you can see here.
