Oklahoma employees examined Ryan Walters’ office television. Here’s what they found

In a note of Oklahoma legislators, the State Management and Corporate Services Service says that “it cannot definitively determine whether an incident took place,” including images of naked women, which are shown in a television set at Ryan Walter’s State School Chief during the State Council of Education.

The Oklahoman document on Tuesday, July 29, sheds light on how the agency’s investigation began, how this investigation has developed, and what employees have found so far. The Omes Memorandum does not contain Walters Cleansing languages, although he repeatedly insisted on Tuesday that he was released by the agency.

“We are currently expecting an additional word from the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s office for the next steps in the investigation,” the note said.

The note says three sheriff’s deputies joined Omes officials when visiting Monday at the Oklahoma State Department’s offices at the Oliver Hoj building, located in the Capitol complex.

According to the note, they have found:

• Television had access to cable, streaming services, was connected to an empty DVD player and was equipped with a dipole antenna.

• Television was connected to the open WiFi network of the country.

• A one -time password is required to access the screen casting to the TV, limiting the number of people with the ability to casting the device.

• The story of the search on television was empty.

• Earlier, television belonged to a former employee of the Education Agency and was moved to the chief’s office earlier this month. The employee’s account was still linked to YouTube TV, but under a new IP address.

• Due to the hundreds of pre -loaded television applications, streaming services did not receive a complete review as television remained in place.

• Walters told them that on board meetings, many staff members, board members and public may have access to his office.

According to the note, Walters had contacted Monday Monday “and asked Mes to examine the equipment in OSDE.” The only device that was asked to explore was a 55-inch Samsung TV at Walters’ office. The note does not mention other devices used by Walters, such as a laptop computer or mobile phone.

Messe said in the note that he could review the technology only at the request of the Agency, unless otherwise directed by the legislature, law enforcement or judicial system. Mess also said that “cannot inspect other state or personal devices without the permission of this agency and/or individuals.”

During a press conference on Tuesday, Walters said many investigations showed that his “devices were never linked to this TV”.

He also defamed a question about the possibilities of streaming the contents of the TV, repeatedly describing it as “cable TV”.

He came out of the press conference without saying whether he had provided the sheriff’s office or Omes permission to investigate other devices. According to the note, Mems was informed that wireless hot spots were used in the Walters’ office during the meetings on board, but that he could not independently verify this information. Omes can only observe the wireless networks of the condition, says the note.

The note says a member of the board has filed a written complaint about the content they have said they have seen on television. This member of the board is Becky Carson of Edmund.

Carson and the second board member, Ryan Dentaite of Kingfisher, told Oklahoman on Friday that they saw images of naked women as the board met behind closed doors at Walters’ office on Thursday. The State Council was at the Walters Office for an enforcement session to discuss the licensing of teachers, appeals to students’ attendance, and other sensitive issues.

Walters, who chaired the board, forcibly denied knowing about or responsible for the content on television.

“Any assumption that my device has been used to transmit inappropriate content on the TV is definitely false,” he said. “I have no knowledge of what was on the television screen during the alleged incident, and there is absolutely no truth to any importance for the wrongful actions.”

According to the note, Carson’s complaint includes “Walters’) computers, personal devices and mobile phones used by him in his office, using state resources to ensure that any pornography is reserved.” Oklahoman has applied for open records with a memorial for a copy of Carson’s complaint.

After receiving the complaint, Mees said that “then turned to the Oklahoma County Sheriff and the State Bureau for Oklahoma Investigation of the abundance of caution and in the confession that Omes is not a law enforcement agency and has no authority to investigate such issues.”

Oklahoma school chief Ryan Walters spoke at a press conference in Capitol in Oklahoma after allegations of nudity shown at a meeting of the Oklahoma City School Board on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.

OSBI spokesman Hunter McKi told Oklahoman on Monday that the agency has also contacted the investigation, and “If there is anything that is considered criminal, we will be ready to help” the sheriff office if he wants help.

At his press conference on Tuesday, Walters stated that not only was Omes cleared, but also the Sheriff’s office of Oklahoma County. A spokesman for the last agency said no one had been released from misconduct and that the investigation of the incident was going on.

Walters accused governor Kevin Shield of organizing the drama with the help of his four recent appointed to the Oklahoma State Education Council, including Carson and Deatherrage. Stat and Walters, both Republicans, have been imprisoned in political feud for months.

Legislators responded to Walters’ statements on Tuesday to repeat their calls for external examination.

“From the outset, I stated the need for a transparent third-country review of this situation,” Home President Kyle Hilbert, R-Bristow, said in a statement. “Regardless of the thoughts of the state supervisor, it deserves to be treated as innocent until it is proven guilty, the same as anyone in this situation. As a speaker of the house, my desire is to leave an independent investigation and anywhere in the investigation, the house of the house is ready to take appropriate action if one is necessary.”

State representative Andy Fugate, the D-Del City-who is not a fan of Walters-said he does not know what to believe in, with each country telling conflict stories.

“In respect of the chief, he deserves a complete and complete investigation, in which he must be a part of a participant,” Fugate said. “If not, he should be interested in clearing his name instead of going out and simply attacking everyone else, whether he blames the governor, he accuses the school council members, he accuses the media” awakens. “
