Scientists are currently studying a mysterious sphere that they believe is an unidentified flying object (UFO).

The metal item was originally spotted flying over Buga, Colombia, on March 2, before being restored in the area, according to a video of scientists who were shared online.

Jose Luis Velazquez, one of the researchers studying the field, said that the mysterious object seems to be “without welding or joints” – both usually show human production. The sphere seems to have mysterious symbols carved on its surface, he added.

Velazquez and his team said they used the X -ray of the site and found that it consists of three layers of metal, along with nine “microspheres” in the interior.

“It’s a very rare piece … I’ve never seen such a piece,” Velazquez said.

Alleged UFO spotted over the Holloman Air Development Center in New Mexico

Julia Mosbridge, a member of the Department of Physics and Biophysics of the University of San Diego, and the founder of the Institute of Love and Time (TILT) – told Fox News that she was skeptical of the origin of the sphere.

“It looks like a really cool art project to me,” she told The Outlet.

“Before you decide that something is anomalous or UFO, bring the site to a group like Galileo Project,” Mosbrid continued, citing an international research project founded by Avi Loeb’s astrophysics, which aims to check and study potential alien artfacts.

The researcher added that such discoveries can say more about the current state of humanity than the universe as a whole.

“We’re coming in at a time when we don’t have the control we thought we had,” she told Fox News. “If an artist does this, why is it? Well, I think this is partly the same reason. This is because we learn that we do not understand what is in our sky or our waters. And something happens, which is essentially more than us.”

And while Mosbridge is skeptical of the recent find in Colombia, she does not necessarily believe that all UFO observations or artifacts are fraud.

“Honestly, we have been considering UAP for decades (unidentified abnormal phenomena) and the federal government has admitted that there are things we do not understand, but we investigate them,” she said.

Mossbridge also emphasized the importance of using non -governmental, non -party research groups such as Galileo Project and the UAP research scientific coalition.

“They all try to receive strict information themselves, not necessarily to wait for the federal government, about what is happening in our sky, what is happening in our waters and actually trying to achieve international cooperation around these things,” she said.

“Because, for example, the sphere in Colombia is in another country. So what are the rules on how we deal with something that is interesting that is there?” Added Mossbridge.

In a statement to humans, Mosbridge also said: “The natural human response to the unknown is fear. But we must begin to notice that fear does not actually keep us; what keeps us safe is the desire to understand and explore what is really happening – and react appropriately to what we find.”

“This willingness is supported by self-prescription, the ability to look beyond ourselves and to admit that there are things that are bigger than us,” she continued.
