Amanda Knox – which was justified in 2011 for the murder in 2007 at her roommate Meredith Kercher after spending four years in an Italian prison cell – claiming that she recently had an exchange with police at an airport for her past prison and her current job.

Knox shared in a series of posts of X that she got on a flight to Dublin from a Seattle airport to promote her new memoir, Free: My search for meaningWhen she was stopped by the cops.

She claims that they ask her where she is traveling and what she planned to do after reaching Ireland. In response, she told them that she would be “interviewed” on television for her new book, which was for “reintegration in society after prison.”

Knox said then was asked: “What did you do to do [in] Prison? “To which she replied,” I really didn’t. “When the police asked her how long she was in prison, she said she was there” four years until she found me innocent. “

Knox shared additional information about the interaction in the comments, noting the location and shared that the cops did not give “no reason” to stop it and ask questions. However, she did not share when the incident happened and if something happened before or after.

Knox and her boyfriend Rafael Soles were accused in 2007 for killing Kerher, who was found dead in the home they shared in Peruga, Italy. After almost two years in prison and an 11-month process, an Italian jury found a Knox and a salios guilty of the murder of Kerher, and the couple was sentenced to 26 and 25 years in prison respectively.

In 2011, however, the Court of Appeal dismissed the most serious accusations against the Knox, stating in its second trial that there was an abuse of evidence of DNA in the case. The case was again tried and Knox was again found guilty of Kerher’s murder, but was again annulled after the highest court of Italy said there were “bright mistakes” in the investigation.

Rudy Guede, who hired a part of the same home as Knox and Kercher, was found guilty of murder and sexual assault and sentenced to 30 years in a separate trial in 2008.

In his new memoir, Knox tells the story of life after prison and his continuing battle to prove his innocence. She said that although she was declared innocent and released, she was never allowed to live her life completely.

“There is always this implication by looking at Amanda living your life while Meredith is dead,” she said. “Every expression of life in my life is regarded as an insult in the memory of a friend of mine who is killed.”
