I changed my Tesla Model 3 with a BYD printing. I no longer want anything to do with Elon Musk.

  • Kevin Bond bought Tesla Model 3 with his retirement money after retiring.

  • 5 years later, he replaced it by sealing by BYD after becoming uncomfortable with the actions of Elon Musk.

  • Bond said that the seal was faster and better built than Model 3, with a smoother interior.

This essay is based on a conversation with Kevin Bond, a retired director of Mental Health Services from Devon, the United Kingdom, for an exchange of his Tesla Model 3 for the BYD print. It is edited for length and clarity.

I’ve lived in Devon for three years. I am now retired, but I was the director of the Mental Health Services and the CEO of a non -profit health and social care company.

I bought Tesla Model 3 in 2020 when I retired, with the one -off amount you receive with your professional pension for my wife.

We sold it about three months ago. I just felt really uncomfortable that a single penny of our money would go anywhere near Elon Musk.

I was always a little unpleasant with Musk, but over time my wife and I became more and more relaxed.

I think there is a moment when it is beyond just unpleasant and you believe that this person actively creates hatred and division between people.

When [Southport] Rebels happened, the feeling that he was igniting the flames. I’m not comfortable at all and I don’t want to contact him.

I think he stepped on a line. His support for far -right countries in Germany and its distribution of misinformation is simply shameful.

Model 3 troubles

If I’m honest, I’ve never liked so much Model 3.

There was no denial that when you first entered, it was exciting. You put your foot down and walk very quickly. But it wasn’t very comfortable for me.

The seats were not well made and the interior was cheap and nasty. Many of the important settings were adjusted across the display screen so that your eyes were off the road when they had to be on the road.

The doors were not installed so well, so you have a little noise from the cabin and after a few years the suspension began to creak hard.

She just felt cheap. Personally, I didn’t think she was very well collected.

Initially, the service was fine, but after a few years the answer was terrible. This is probably the youngest service I have ever had from any car dealer.

When we sold Tesla, it had the youngest depreciation of every car I owned. We sold it for just over £ 10,000 [$13,500] After buying it for nearly £ 50,000.

Buying a bayd

One stands until Baid's seal

Kevin Bond bought his second hand on Byd Seal after having previously owned Tesla Model 3.Kevin Bond

When we started looking for a new car, I decided we would have to compromise.

What we found was that there were quite a few cars that had caught up with Tesla, both in terms of quality, but also of the range and price.

We received a BYD stamp at the same time we sold Tesla. We bought a former demonstration vehicle that was a year old.

It is faster than Tesla – accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds – and has a longer range. You can also charge it 100%without damaging the battery.

It’s just a beautifully built car and very comfortable. If you close the doors, they go properly, and there is no wind noise in the cabin.

There is surrounding lighting, ventilated seats and head displays, all the things you can expect in a car you pay a lot of money for.

It is difficult to find things that are wrong in it. The media system is a little clumsy and shiny and it is a little more slow to load. However, we make the bigger part of our loading at home and with the seal there is more range, the slow time of charging is not really a problem.

He drives beautifully on the road. You will look at it through an angle in a way I wouldn’t drive in Tesla. She feels safe and feels solid.

If I could give scores, I would give by by BYD nine out of ten and probably one of ten for Tesla.
