Parents outside thousands when the hive NW closes sharply

Portland, Ore. (Koin) – Families are thousands of dollars and roll to find care of children after A performance of Camp Camp and Programs and Activation sharply closed. And this is not the first time the people who run the program have participated in this situation.

Parents are angry and disappointed, as are the children. Christine Pond told Koin 6 News that her daughter was “very, very sad” when he heard the news. So were the neighboring children, she said. “Many tears.”

The Beehive NW Summer Camp website said the program was open from June to August at Taborspace in Southeast Portland, promising travel to various parks and lakes around Oregon and Washington.

But on Sunday night, the parents received an email: the camp was closed forever. No refund. There is no care for the children.

“We are not just about raising children, we are on the money and then we have to double to pay for more child care,” says Rachel Bolon, a mother of two children who were signed for camp.

The hive also offers care after school. The parents told Koin 6 News that they were also paid hundreds for it. This program has also been canceled. Both parents said they would probably have to rest from work, now they are losing income at the top of lost training.

“My daughter will not be able to take care of children next year. She will have to stay with me. So that means that I will not work so much either,” Pond said.

Koin 6 News asked Beehive owner, Christian Bringelson if he knew they lack money, why go on for so long? Why not recover to your parents and pay to your employees before the money is gone? He first said he had hoped, but in the end he said he did not know the answer to this question.

“We didn’t understand as a bandit from this. This is not a situation where, like, I roll in dough because we are in a hurry with the parents or something. We made a huge financial mistake by taking that,” Gallson said. “100%, that’s wrong. But I have no other information when I’m in battle or flight.”

The registered agent of the hive is his girlfriend Leslie Marshall. Three years ago, Koin 6 News announced that she did the same with her Northwest Adventure Program.

“He had to finish Leslie’s business,” Gallson said. “Our empathy and trying to fix things. Too fascinated.”

According to Oregon Secretary of State, the only responsibility of the registered agent is “accepting the physical provision of legal documents on behalf of the business. They are required to have a physical address on the street in Oregon, where they can be located during normal working hours.”

In a statement on Tuesday, Marshall told Koin 6 News: “We have been trying to do this work for so long. We have continued the old business and do all the programs alone for years so that families can handle their debt. Ask one of our families and our commitment is indisputable. This has never cared. He has always fought.

Renderelon said it rebranded the old business and many of our parents were back, even though it couldn’t say how much.

IN 2022, Koin 6 News talks to Julie Mallory, Parent to a child in the after -school program northwestern adventure program. She said she had never been heard from Marshall to return or received a refund, even though she was able to challenge her credit card fee.

Parents are not the only money. An employee told Koin 6 News that they were due to about $ 1,400 on their last salary, which they had never received.

Families said they were working with the Portland police to submit a report and seek to take civil action through the courts.

“So my mood now is that I’m pretty, quite upset. And I really don’t want it to happen to more families in the future,” Bologon said.

Asked if he intends to recover to families and pay to his employees what he owes to them, Breadelson claims he has no money.

“I am currently losing my indoor, our transport van, my personal home. I have nothing, so that is, you know as soon as I get a job and I can start paying people,” he said.

He added, “We tried to fund me. It doesn’t work.”

But this gofundme states that it is for Yurt. The parents were not happy when they heard that.

“I’m horrified,” Bologon said. “People donated recently only three weeks ago.”
