The shameful soldier Michael Prector, who serves as a leading investigator in the Karen murder case, was fired from his role in the state police in Massachusetts.
A family of the removed Trooper Proctor says Karen Reed’s lawyers “create fake stories”
Colonel Jeffrey Noble has accepted the recommendation of the Massachusetts State Police Judicial Council to terminate Prector from his position on Trooper, law enforcement agencies said on Wednesday morning.
“Our mission to provide the highest level of police services depends on the trust of the public in our professionalism and integrity. It is an obligation for me, as well as every member of this department, to comply with each other when each member compromises our mission, failing to maintain our values,” says Noble in a statement.
The Judicial Council has reported Prector guilty of two accusations, unsatisfactory results and alcoholic beverages, which were presented in three disciplinary hearing.
In a specification of findings to be guilty, the trial council found that Prector “did not comply with the standards of work created for the rank, title or position of the member, and/or failed to take appropriate action on the occasion of a crime, disorder or other condition deserving the attention of the State Police” between January 29, 2022.
The trial council also said that Prector “consumes alcoholic beverages while eating dinner on duty and then continued to manage its cruiser department on July 19, 2022.

Prector was appointed to investigate the death of a Boston police officer’s boyfriend in Boston John O’Kife. He was released from his obligation without pay last summer after a reflection was announced in the case of the murder of Read and his last day with the prosecutor’s office of the Norfolk District Prosecutor’s Office, followed shortly after.
Proctor fled under a series of neglectful texts he sent for reading, which he read aloud in court during the testimony of the witnesses of her first trial. Proctor admitted to the podium that the texts were “unprofessional”.
He called reading things like “Hroad Work” and other humiliating words, he talks about her medical problems and writes: “No naked so far” as he passed through his phone.
In a statement issued in response to his shooting, Proctor’s family expressed disappointment with Noble’s decision.
“We are truly disappoint with the trial board’s decision as it lacks precedent, and unfairly exploits and scapegoats one of the ares, a 12-year unablee unablee. The family’s statement continued: “Proctor and his detectives led a careful and in -depth investigation of honesty, and despite today’s improper termination, as well as great harm and slander, this case caused him and his family, Prector still believes that the police will be fulfilled.
Read is accused of hitting O’Kefe with her SUV Lexus on January 29, 2022 and letting him die after a night of drinking. The defense seeks to portray the victim as a victim, saying that O’Kife was actually killed in the home of the Albert family and then dragged out and left as dead.
Prector also serves as a leading investigator in the case against Brian Walche, who is accused of killing and dispensing his wife Anna Walche.
Read’s second test is scheduled to begin with the selection of a jury on April 1st.
