Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams are finally back on solid land.
NASA astronauts, who flew to space aboard Starline’s unsuccessful spacecraft months ago, landed on Tuesday night off the Florida coast with SpaceX Dragon capsule. The car was the same, selected for their return months ago, when two astronauts from the SpaceX mission, known as the Crew-9, reached the International Space Station.
The team of the crew-9, NASA astronaut Nick Hag and the Cosmonout of Roscosmos Alexander Gorbunov, were also aboard the freedom of dragons when he made a dramatic parachute, aided after a long 17-hour space flight.
For Wilmore and Williams, water landing ended an unexpected nine -month orbit mission when piloting Boeing’s star because of their maiden trip. The vehicle that faced technical problems when it reached the orbital laboratory returned in September to Earth without them.
Many people were tuned to Spacex Dragon as they approached the ground to prepare for landing. But if you missed Wilmore and Williams’ return to Earth, here are pictures of the Dragon landing, followed by the four space sides coming out of the craft.
