Lee and Elk’s wild fires, which struck the city of Mecker, have grown to over 75,000 acres, according to fire department officials on August 8th.
There was still no detention of any of the Blaise in the Rio Blanco County, leaving the weather conditions for the fire department who expects great growth of the fire immediately after the afternoon.
The hot fires in Colorado have requested at least 1,100 acres this summer, based on federal database and media reports.
The smoke of fires in the Counts Rio Blanco, Mofhate and East Dolores has led to health consultations on air quality in these areas, as well as in the Ruth, Grand and Jackson counties. The consultations were in place until 9 am August 9, with possible moderate to strong smoke in consultative areas.

Lee’s fire has grown to 60 796 acres, the most biggest of the year in Colorado, with the Macker fire growing to 14,518 acres, according to updates on August 8.
The amount of workforce and fires struggling has also increased. According to fire officials, the flames fight 528 staff. The resources unfold included 11 aircraft, 46engines, 21 hand crews and 11 pieces of heavy equipment. The National Guard has also been mobilized.
Strategic dismissal is used to slow Lee’s fire, but more growth is expected under red flag conditions, which are expected to continue until August 9.
Public safety officials held a meeting in the community in Macker on August 6 to discuss fires, including the expected impact of time and possible changes to evacuation status. An archived video was posted on the Rio Blanco sheriff’s page.
Leroux Fire Educated Connection
The Leroux fire has increased to 195 acres, but is 72%contained since August 8 and has an estimated detention date.
Residents who were evacuated were allowed to return to their homes on August 6, according to West Slope Fire. However, they are in “Pre -evacuation” status, which means that they must be ready to evacuate again if the conditions change.
Stoner meat fire continues to grow
The fire of Stoner Mesa in the National Forest in San Juan reached 833 acres without restriction on an update on August 8 by fire officials.
The conditions remain in place for high fire growth based on weather and fuel forecasts.
Twelve fire grows to more than 4000 acres
The twelve fires in the Mofhate County increased to 4 287 acres and contained 20%, according to an update on August 8, from the office of Moffat Sherrif.
